ABOUT THE APPLICANT/POSITION:
The new preacher will be under the leadership of 2 elders & 4 deacons. This list includes but isn’t limited to what vve’d like for him to be/do:
Married, preferably with children;
Experienced;
Educated at a Church of Christ college, but extensive experience could be enough;
Well-grounded in scripture with in-depth Bible knowledge;
Able to preach on a down-to-earth level, not so deep that it's over the listeners’ heads;
Willing to teach as well;
Possess technological knowledge;
Be visible in & interact with the community;
Have his own insurances;
A residence is provided - kitchen, living/dining room combo, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, laundry room, attached carport with capability to be turned into additional living space if needed, small storage building behind house.

• Teach at least one Bible class, either Sunday morning or Wednesday evening each quarter. Teens and/or adults. Coordinate with the Deacon/Leader of the Adult & Secondary Education programs.
• One original bulletin article per week. Review bulletin for accuracy/content.
• Coordinate with our Media Administrator for the Lightpost app material, and maintain social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and whatever else the youth group kids say we need. ?
• Evangelize the community, with the assistance of the congregation, utilizing our Congregational Evangelism model.
• The work is not finished when a lost soul is baptized. Teaching must continue, both privately and in public settings (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 20:20).
• Attend 2 lectureship-type programs (Ex. F-HU Lectureship, Polishing the Pulpit, etc.) West Side will pay for your lodging, travel, and participation fees (if applicable).

Located in Searcy, Arkansas, Truth for Today World Mission School was established, in part, in 1983. It has grown through the years into a multi-pronged edifying and equipping work that is now reaching out as far as any effort among us. We write, process, and print a new 52-page, expository, study journal every month. We are addressing the language barriers of the world by translating many of our materials into 23 of the major and significant minor languages. We are closing in on completing the most expansive commentary set that our brotherhood has done. We now have 56 commentaries in print, and we will probably have 65 when we finish. We have an online school which has 517 courses in place, some of which are in 23 languages (if English is counted). This school is being received, in some degree, in 90 percent of the land area of the world. When it is fully developed with its 1,500 courses, it will be dedicated to giving the most Bible to the most people in the shortest amount of time.

Our need is this: We would like to put into place two preachers of excellent quality who will preach in connection with our work. They will each go out to the churches, both small and large, every other Sunday, telling about TFTWMS, and encouraging the brethren in their work. They will be winning the lost and inspiring the churches to grow and take on the world with the gospel. During the week, they will help lead TFTWMS in various ways. They will write and develop programs that will encourage congregations to live up to their potential. They will live in Searcy, AR, and have a study/office in the building of TFTWMS, which is located two-miles from Harding University. These are choice positions, and will certainly allow these two preachers to have a world impact with the gospel. The preachers must be faithful, of a gentle spirit, well-balanced, well-respected, and possessing a quality educational background.

Work closely with the elders, deacons and other church staff to integrate the youth ministry into the broader church vision and mission. Attend staff meetings and collaborate on church-wide initiatives. Conduct Sunday morning sermons and Wednesday night devotionals as needed.
Community Outreach:
Engage with local schools and community organizations to build relationships and create opportunities for outreach and service. Be a visible presence at community events, fostering connections between the church and the surrounding community. Attend youth group members' student events.
Communications:
Manage youth churchwide communications to ensure effective and timely dissemination of information. Maintain the church’s youth-related social media platforms, website, and email newsletters, ensuring they are up-to-date and engaging. Design graphics and promotional materials for youth events and other ministries as needed.
Content Creation:
Collaborate with members to create and distribute content that highlights the work of the church. Develop clear, engaging messaging for youth events, worship services, and church wide initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Manage the youth ministry budget, and maintain records of events, attendance, and participation. Ensure effective communication with youth, parents, and members through social media, email, and other platforms.
Qualifications:
A deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to the teachings of the Bible.
Bachelor’s degree in youth ministry, Bible, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Prior experience in youth ministry leadership, with a strong passion for working with middle and high school students.
Ability to teach and communicate biblical truths in an engaging, relatable way.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with youth, parents, and church leadership.
Team-oriented with a heart for serving others.
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, events, and members.
Proficiency in using social media and digital communication tools to engage with youth and families.
A commitment to the beliefs and practices of the Church of Christ.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience planning and leading youth mission trips, retreats, and camps.
Experience leading worship for youth services.

Work Environment
Schedule:
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate youth events, retreats, mission trips, and church services. Expected to maintain a forty-hour work week with designated office hours.
